I went snow tubing on Saturday up in the South Hills (a portion of the Sawtooth Mountains). The area is about an hour from Twin. The snow was so deep! The area is part of the sawtooth national forest and in the summer is a campsite. Apparently, it doesn't matter to people here whether it's cold or hot: camping is for any weather. The difference is the gear you bring. People were out in full force: there were tubes, skis, boards and snow mobiles EVERYWHERE. People were grilling out in the snow, drinking beer... it was crazy and fun!

omg - I am so jealous! Seriously - grilling in the snow?! Are you going to get winter camping gear as well?
I love your post! Keep it up!
That is so cool. I didn't even know people did that. It sounds like a lake party with snow instead of water and boats. :)
